KLEWS Resources

  • What’s Your Evidence? By Zembal-Saul, McNeill and Hershberger
  • KLEWS CHARTS

Consider creating a KLEWS chart for the unit. A KLEWS chart is a dynamic, flexible, ongoing resource that the teacher creates in conjunction with students throughout the unit. The KLEWS chart can be used as a repository for the essential questions, evidence, questions, and vocabulary/key concepts throughout the unit.

Background on KLEWS charts (these are from a science perspective, however, the only difference is the S column would now be Social Studies vocabulary/key concepts.)
